Clontarf Golf Club was founded in 1912 and occupies a well-maintained parkland setting in Clontarf, Dublin 3, just 4 kilometres from Dublin city centre. The course plays to a par of 70 over 5,668 yards. While compact by championship standards, the tree-lined layout demands accuracy and course management, rewarding golfers who think their way around the course rather than relying on distance alone. The course is in excellent condition throughout the season.
Visitors are welcome at Clontarf Golf Club seven days a week without the need for a handicap certificate. Green fees are among the most reasonable in Dublin at €30 to €45, making Clontarf an excellent option for a casual visitor round or an after-work game.
