Stackstown Golf Club is located on the foothills of the Dublin Mountains in Rathfarnham, Dublin 16. The course plays to a par of 72 over 6,029 yards, making use of the naturally sloping hillside terrain to create a distinctive and challenging round. The elevated position affords sweeping views over Dublin city and Dublin Bay from many of the course's holes — arguably the finest urban panorama of any golf course in the county.
Visitors are welcome at Stackstown seven days a week without the need for a handicap certificate. Green fees range from €30 to €40, making Stackstown one of the best-value rounds available in Dublin. The club has a friendly, welcoming atmosphere and good facilities. The course is located approximately 10 kilometres south of Dublin city centre, accessible via the Rathfarnham Road. The hillside location means the course can be exposed in poor weather but the views on a clear day are exceptional.
